We're proud to introduce Early Years Dialogue

The Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA) has proudly launched Early Years Dialogue, a new video series exploring the issues, challenges and opportunities shaping Australia’s early learning sector.

Australia’s early learning sector plays an enormously important role in the lives of children, families and communities. It is also one of the country’s most highly regulated and closely scrutinised sectors, with public discussion increasingly focused on issues such as child safety, workforce, affordability, funding, access and inclusion.

These are important conversations, but the issues are rarely simple and the headlines do not always capture the complexity of delivering high-quality early learning every day.

Behind every early learning service are educators, teachers, service leaders and providers making thousands of decisions to support the individual needs of children and families, while navigating an increasingly complex regulatory and operating environment.

Through Early Years Dialogue, ACA brings together sector leaders, experts and those working directly in early learning to share their perspectives and explore the issues that matter – from the opportunities and challenges facing services and educators to the important role early learning plays in the lives of children, families and communities.

By creating space for deeper conversations beyond the headlines, the series aims to give Australians a clearer understanding of the complexities and realities of Australia’s early learning sector.
